Bert Elliot’s musical journey began in the heart of New York City, where he embarked on a path as a percussionist, playing the drums and orchestral percussion.
His love for music started in school, eventually leading him to audition for the borough-wide orchestra in New York City. Every Saturday, he’d hop on the A train to Manhattan, a journey that nurtured his passion and offered a means of self-expression.
Bert’s journey into music composition began with a Bachelor’s Degree from Queens College in New York, equipping him with the skills and knowledge needed to become a serious composer.
Bert’s musical ventures have spanned across the globe, including performances in various parts of the U.S., and Europe. His prolific career has seen him leave an indelible mark on the global music stage.

Guitar Player Magazine, in its April 2008 issue, spotlighted Bert’s exceptional guitar prowess, particularly highlighting his track “Don’t Shoot, Let’s Rock.” Editor-In-Chief, Michael Molenda, commended Bert’s ability to channel his Jeff Beck influence into a distinct and mesmerizing style, lauding his phrasing and well-crafted guitar tones.

In a humbling and monumental moment, Bert Elliot was inducted into the Blues Hall Of Fame on February 11, 2015, a testament to his enduring impact on the world of music.After his induction into the Blues Hall Of Fame Bert embarked on a journey of live performances across the United States with his band.

Bert’s has released two previous critically acclaimed albums: “On The Positive Tip” and “Asylum In Playland.” These albums provide windows into his emotional upbringing. “On The Positive Tip” reflects his desire to spread positivity in a world where negativity and hardship loom. It’s a testament to his resilience. In contrast, “Asylum In Playland” explores the unsettling history of Rockaway, New York, which housed the mentally ill in distant asylums away from society. Each release is a unique chapter in Bert’s musical odyssey, a reflection of his personal experiences and emotional roots.

COSMIC MIND has Steve Stevens(Billy Idol,Michael Jackson,Top Gun Anthem)playing nylon string acoustic guitar on this track. The blend of the two guitar wizards is nothing short of brilliant.
